You’ll probably have seen those pictures of Nigel Farage keeping watch over Dover (and other parts of the south coast) on the lookout for migrant boats so he can video them and put them on Twitter.

Now this reader’s letter to the Times has gone viral because it’s the perfect response to the former UKIP leader’s ‘boat-spotting’ antics.

It went viral after it was shared on Twitter by @guardian journalist and all-round good guy @JoshHalliday.
