Donald Trump gave his first address about the Ohio shooting and got the city wrong
Donald Trump has been criticised for his response – or rather, lack of it – to the mass shootings that killed at least 29 people and injured many more in the US.
Surely then he’d make up for it with his first televised address on the tragedies? Not really, because this happened.

It didn’t happen in Toledo. It happened in Dayton. Close, but no cigar.
Context: Toledo, which President Trump just mentioned in his speech, is a 150 miles from Dayton, where the shooting actually happened.
