Boris Johnson was asked 26 times about that photo and his answer – or lack of it – tells you everything

You’ll know by now about Boris Johnson’s late-night row with his partner Carrie Symonds which resulted in the police being called to his home.

And you’ll also know about the post-row picture that ’emerged’ yesterday suggesting everything is fine and dandy with the happy couple.

Except questions are now being asked whether that photo isn’t actually knew and not at all what it purports to be – a couple happily reunited after a raucous late-night bust-up.

So naturally PM wannabe Johnson was asked about it when he appeared on LBC today and this happened.

Estimates of how many times he was asked varied from 23 all the way up to 26. And his failure to reply really does tell you all you need to know about the man.

I like the way he says things how they are. Like how when you ask him “was this photograph of your own face taken in the last few days” he says “I couldn’t possibly answer such a question”. Nothin but straight-talkin, honest, tells it like it is Bojo.
