This influencer’s classic rant about having to wait two minutes for cookies really takes the biscuit

A clip from a few years ago has started attracting attention again after being posted on Reddit’s r/ImTheMainCharacter forum.

Vlogger Brandy Wooten really didn’t want to wait two minutes for her fresh cookies at McDonald’s and she gave the store’s new manager an earful – all on camera for her own vlog.

Influencer and full-time blogger has meltdown at McDonald’s drive-thru over cookies

After going wildly viral and being called out for her behaviour, she posted on her YouTube account –

“I didnt hurt no one i didnt do nothing wrong.. #CookiEMonster i just kussed they ass out . sorry not sorry if i wanted to bake my own i would have but i love McDonald’s cookies i just hate they store can never have shit together for the sake of the cookie lovers.”[sic]

Despite its age, the clip was new to a lot of people – and nobody was impressed by her temper.

What a horrible person. I hated being taught manners as a kid but if people end up like this when they aren’t taught, it was a small price to pay.

Ew, the way she was looking at the camera the entire time ☠️

This is the second worst person in history.

The level of disrespect is gross. The lady was trying so hard to be diplomatic too.

It’s like an episode of Black Mirror. Eventually these people won’t ever interact normally with other human beings, they will only know how to do it through a screen.

Who she talking to? I’m confused it’s like she think she represents the internet or something?

McFly1986 had been on the wrong side of a similar customer.

I worked at McDonalds in high school. Through the years I have enjoyed telling people a story about a woman who drive up and demanded that we make her a Filet-o-Fish and that it be made “fresh.” She claimed it was not “fresh” last time. I politely told her we make it “fresh” the same way every time (which of course is unfreezing the patty and putting it on a bun… this is McDonalds we are taking about).

Being the teenage go-getter that I was, I stepped over the kitchen and told them to put a little effort into making this particular sandwich and to try to make it “look good.” Within a minute of receiving her order, she was parked and in the store, showing me how it wasn’t “fresh” enough. The lady was livid. My manager quickly and politely pushed me aside to address the woman’s concerns. The manager was pleasant for about 30 seconds as I watched her patience boil over. She finally interrupted the woman saying “Well EXCUSE ME ma’am, but if you want this any fresher imma have to catch you a fish from the ocean and fry it up… and I can’t do that for you!!”

I think we just have her money back and hoped she wouldn’t ever come again.

Be kind to serving staff or end up on Reddit.
