Sandi Toksvig had a message for the Archibishop of Canterbury and it’s simply brilliant

Earlier this week the Archbishop of Canterbury ‘affirmed the validity’ of a 1998 Anglican chuch declaration that gay sex is a sin.

Justin Welby told the Lambeth conference that questioning bible teaching was ‘unthinkable’ for conservative Anglicans and that the 1998 resolution was ‘not in doubt’ (although he said he would not punish churches allowing same-sex marriage, so that was nice of him).

We mention it because the brilliant Sandi Toksvig of QI, The Great British Bake Off and much else besides fame, shared a response to the Archbishop on Twitter and it went viral for reasons that are about to become obvious.

Here it is again in full.

As important as it is brilliant.

And here are just a few of the things people said about it.
