You can probably guess what people think of Liz Truss’ plan to ‘unleash’ British farming
As Liz Truss does the election circuit, promising to make Britain great again – or whatever buzzwords she’s using this week – we can’t help wondering if it’s the same Liz Truss who made this deal with New Zealand.

When a deal is so bad they mention it on the news in the country it’s actually benefitting, that’s spectacularly bad, so when Liz Truss started making promises about farming, it was always going to be interesting.
Here’s what she’s been saying.
We don’t know what Tory Party members thought of her announcement – and they’re the only ones with a say in who becomes prime minister – but tweeters weren’t keen.
You just keep saying stuff you think sounds good without any explanation, or, I suspect, understanding of how the thing you say you’ll do will produce the outcome you say it will.
