Boris Johnson’s cringeworthy Top Gun cosplay earned him some top flight takedowns
It’s good to know that the UK’s prime minister – who has boasted about his green credentials – took time out of his busy schedule of not going to COBRA meetings so he could prepare for a lavish party, to take the controls of a gas-guzzling Typhoon jet.

Johnson’s visit to RAF Coningsby, where pilots are trained to fly the jets, looked more like a birthday experience package than a sensible use of a prime minister’s time during several ongoing crises.
