The ‘Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’ might be the best collective activity you can do in public

In 2013, performance collective Shambush held The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience in Brighton – an attempt to break the record for the most people dressed as Kate Bush. As you do.

Since 2016, in a similar vein, there has been an annual Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever at various locations worldwide, in which people dress as Kate and recreate her Wuthering Heights video, often to raise money for women’s charities in their area.

Here’s the original video, if you need reminding or just fancy seeing it again.

On Twitter, a clip of the event in Folkestone has had more than a million views in a day, and we’re not surprised because it’s simply magnificent.
