The Amazon guy went the extra mile with this ‘delivered direct to family member’ photo
First in an occasional series, delivery driver of the day is surely this one.
It’s a screenshot shared by mayorofutopia who said: ‘This is the picture Amazon sent my BIL to say the packages were “delivered to a family member directly”.’
And it’s 10/10.
There was no end of love for it over on Reddit. Here are our favourite things people said about it.
‘This is … acceptable.’
‘Well technically it is the truth.’
‘Not if this was the neighbour’s dog that they trained to accost parcel delivery men. This stinks to high heaven and Rex is in on it!’
“Signed for by Very Good Boy”
‘I’d really love to know how they got the dog to sign for the delivery.’
‘I’m imagining the Amazon driver pulling out one of those ink pads and the dog signing the paper with his paw print. Lol.’
And also this.
‘I got a delivery notice once that said, “package delivered, verbal signature”. I was like, “doesn’t that defeat the purpose?”
‘We have that at work. “Verbal signature” means they record you saying your name. Probably safer (and easier) than a physical signature.’
So now you know.
