Jack Monroe’s ‘no comment’ response to ’30p a meal’ Tory MP Lee Anderson spoke volumes

You’ll have seen by now the Tory MP Lee Anderson who blamed food poverty on a lack of cooking skills and said nutritious meals could be easily cooked for 30p a time.

We mention him again because it prompted lots of broadcasters to get in touch with the ‘Bootstrap cook’ Jack Monroe to share their views on what Anderson had to say.

@BootstrapCook preferred a no comment, albeit a ‘no comment’ that spoke absolute volumes and is worth every word.
