Russell T Davies brutally owned the government at the Baftas and it’s sheer perfection

Channel 4’s brilliant drama It’s a Sin didn’t win any prizes at the Bafta TV awards on Sunday night but its creator Russell T Davies will always be a winner.

Davies is also in charge of BBC1’s Doctor Who (for the second time) and yesterday announced the fabulous Ncuti Gatwa as the next Doctor.

Interviewed by BBC News in the run-up to Sunday night’s awards, he took the opportunity to own the government in some style. On live TV.

Boom.

And because we can’t watch that shrug enough.

And just a few of the things people were saying about it.
