Donald Trump bragged about hitting a hole in one and it’s unintentionally hilarious

Donald Trump took time out from his busy schedule to issue a lengthy statement about how he scored a hole in one and in a fiercely competitive field it might be the (unintentionally) funniest thing he’s done.

It all began when Republican House candidate Tim Swain posted this picture on Twitter saying Trump had just holed out in one.

Presumably tweets by Swain because Trump can’t, the claim prompted no end of scepticism on Twitter, not only that he got a hole in one but the suggestion that he can count that far.

It prompted Trump to issue a lengthy statement clarifying exactly what happened and it’s presidential gold.

And here it is in full.

If you still don’t believe it – of course you don’t believe it – there was also a video to go with it which 100% does not look staged in any way whatsoever (and also doesn’t actually feature his tee shot, or the ball going in the hole).

And if Trump thought it was going to put an end to the mockery, he was sorely – and entirely predictably – mistaken.
