Say what you like about Rishi Sunak – please – but this clip of him attempting to act like me or thee by buying something in a petrol station is a strong contender for the funniest 2 seconds you’ll spend today.
The unimaginably wealthy Chancellor was doing his man of the people act on Wednesday after his mini budget that was widely criticised for not doing more to help people in the cost of living crisis.
And it’s fair to say it didn’t go entirely well.
