What not to say to your Covid positive friends

Although infection rates appear to be falling, the Omicron variant is so contagious that there’s a good chance you or someone you know has it now. Sorry about that.

Covid has created a whole raft of opportunities for social faux pas, like standing too close to fellow shoppers, turning up for appointments without testing first or blowing out candles on a cake. Nobody’s having a slice after that.

The marvellous Jimmy Rees has come up with some definite no-nos for when you’re chatting with a Covid-positive friend, and it could be invaluable.

These YouTube users agree with us that he nailed it.

Totally captured the survivor guilt/smugness of those of us who haven’t had the spicy cough yet! 💯

Lol! I can relate. Me and my family just recovering from covid and sure got things said to us that shouldn’t of been said.

“I haven’t had it but I know.” Hearing that still gives me flashes of rage. 😂🙃

It’s far from Jimmy’s only take on the pandemic. Here’s one Boris Johnson might relate to.
