Julia Hartley-Brewer trolled the BBC and got just the reception she deserved – 17 takedowns worth tuning in for

The Government has announced it will axe the BBC licence fee in five years time, throwing the future of numerous channels and services and indeed the corporation’s entire future into doubt.

Here’s what culture secretary Nadine Dorries said on Twitter.

The move was widely interpreted as throwing a juicy bone to heartland Tories to appease them in the wake of ‘Partygate’ and the pressure that continues to grow on beleaguered so-called prime minister, Boris Johnson.

Talking of which, TalkRadio presenter Julia Hartley-Brewer took time out from not wearing mask to list all the BBC services she does – or rather, doesn’t use – to ask the question – is it value for money?
