Liz Truss tweeted her wholehearted support for the PM – 14 votes of no confidence

It’s fair to say that Boris Johnson’s non-apology for being at a party during lockdown has gone down like a mask mandate at a Right Said Fred gig.

His claim that he implicitly believed it to be a work event was met with much hilarious scepticism.

The woman widely touted to replace Boris Johnson as leader of the Tory Party, Liz Truss, either bought the excuse wholeheartedly or was happy to go along with it, because she tweeted this.
