Job interview of the week

We’ve had a fair few interviews that haven’t gone quite to plan over the years.

But we’ve never had feedback quite so entertaining – or satisfying – as this, an employer’s response to one candidate’s interview which has just gone viral on Reddit for reasons which are about to become obvious.

There were lots of responses like this.

‘Im sorry.. but do they think people aren’t applying for that job solely to make money?’

“We don’t want people who are just in it for the money because we don’t want to pay them so much money because we’re in it for the money.”

There was also no end of people pointing out that they had no doubt it was fake.

The responses to this Redditor neatly sums things up.

‘I have never once received an email that summarised the meeting. This is fake.

‘I appreciate that half my negative responses say, “Of course it’s fake. No one thinks it’s real! Stop having a stick up your ass!” And the other half of my negative responses say, “It could be real! Just cuz it didnt happen to you doesn’t mean it didn’t happen! Stop having a stick up your ass!”‘

Still made us smile, though.
