This Republican politician’s gun photo might be the worst Christmas celebration ever

There have been hundreds of mass shootings in the USA in 2021, 29 of them in schools. Four students were tragically killed in one such incident just last week, yet Republican congressman Thomas Massie decided that this would be an appropriate image to share in the run-up to Christmas.

Facepalm is too lighthearted a word for the shameful display, but these reactions show what people thought of it.
