Iceland’s superb Eurovision song Think About Things by Dadi Freyer deserves to win
Dadi Freyr and his band Gangamagnid will be representing Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
The singer made it through the finals in Rotterdam thanks to their absolute joy of pop banger, Think About Things.
The name of the band is the Icelandic word for “Data plan” .
The video features the normcore group in green sweatshirts which feature the pixellated avatars of the band members.
Dadi Freyr already has some famous fans in the mix, with Russell Crowe raving about the track on social media.
Gagnamagnið, also known as Daði & Gagnamagnið, are led by Daði Freyr Pétursson.
The other five members of the band are Daði’s wife Árný Fjóla Ásmundsdóttir, Daði’s sister Sigrún Birna Pétursdóttir, Hulda Kristín Kolbrúnardóttir, Stefán Hannesson and Jóhann Sigurður Jóhannsson.
