Someone’s aggressive attempt to buy a rug failed to get the discount they wanted

Selling things online comes with certain risks, such as having to engage with chancers and timewasters, of which this choosing beggar was both.

It started off normally enough, as they enquired about a rug and attempted to haggle.

Convention dictates that hagglers bring their offers closer, little by little, but not this interested party.

They really dug in on the $30 position, coming across as a bit aggressive.

Nothing says “imminent sale” like calling someone selfish and greedy.

Deliberately ignoring the seller’s comment got the prospective buyer ignored – and rightly so.

They then came back with claims of having bagged themselves a bargain elsewhere – as though the seller would care.

But, oh look …it was a ploy. What a shocker!
