4 favourite reactions to Andrew Neil savaging the PM’s failure to deliver projects
Boris Johnson received an absolute savaging from a fairly unexpected quarter, on Wednesday, when Andrew Neil opened his show with a list of Boris Johnson’s failed projects, and it was delivered with sarcasm worthy of the Mash Report.
“Other than Crossrail, the Boris bus, the cable car, the garden bridge, the new airport, and the water cannon, just look at what he’s done for our infrastructure. I think we can all agree HS2 is safe in the PM’s hands”@afneil opens #andrewneilshow https://t.co/1wpriS7bOQ pic.twitter.com/FvS1mrdGWT

Twitter was torn between Boris Johnson fans yelling about BBC bias, and people who were pleased to see some scrutiny of his dreadful record in his various political offices.
These four captured the spirit of the latter group.

Andrew Neil absolutely going to town on Boris here, and his woeful record. No wonder he hasn't got he bollocks to sit and be interviewed by him. #andrewneilshow

Translation for non-Londoners:
* Vastly late and over budget
* Looks great, but is rubbish
* Basically useless
* Millions wasted, nothing delivered
* What new airport?
* Illegal to use, and scrapped at public expense— Götz von Berlichingen #FBPE 🐟 #SardinesUK (@georgebernhard) February 12, 2020

For once I agree with Andrew Neil.
Johnson is a profligate narcissist.

This tweeter named @Normanjam67 wasn’t too impressed, however.
Six weeks after the General Election, now we are stuck with a Conservative Government for 5yrs, the BBC decide to hold Boris Johnson for his failures.
Bravo. https://t.co/TMC5Ofjjo1— 💚 Norman. (@Normanjam67) February 12, 2020
Stable doors and horses all over the place.
