Brad Pitt used his Oscars acceptance speech to take down Donald Trump
Brad Pitt used his Oscars acceptance speech, after winning best supporting actor for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, to take aim at so-called president Donald Trump.
Specifically, the verdict of Trump’s impeachment trial and the fact that the Senate hearing blocked the testimony of former national security adviser John Bolton.
Oh boy this might upset a few Republicans.
Brad Pitt started speech tonight by saying he had 45 second up there,
“Which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week.”

Here’s what he had to say.
“They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week.
“I’m thinking maybe Quentin [Tarantino] does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing.”
Lots of people loved him for it.
Brad Pitt didn’t have to do that. He gave the middle finger to many Trumpers who watch his movies because he is for real and will speak the truth and knows what we saw in that Senate was complete BS and so damaging to the country. Bravo. We need more of that. Stand up.

Brad Pitt is maybe the most genuine down to earth actor I’ve met. It was lovely to see a man so visibly vulnerable genuinely grateful and so openly moved by the acceptance of his peers. It was a beautiful thing to see.

Not everyone, obviously. Just the people we like.
So Brad Pitt went on stage at the Oscars and decided to use his time to attack the President.
This is the same guy who preaches about climate change, but jet sets around the country in a private jet.
Trump won. You lost. Get over it.

Took 10 seconds for the first winner (Brad Pitt) to bash President Trump.
Only surprised it took that long.
As always, this will help Trump not hurt him. #Oscars2020— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) February 10, 2020
