Michael Spicer hilariously imagines the scene in the room next door to Priti Patel
Home Secretary Priti Patel has been something of a dream for satirists, while being a nightmare for interviewers, as she stubbornly refuses to give a straight answer to any question.
Comedian Michael Spicer, currently preparing for his first ever live show, has absolutely spoilt us once again by interpreting Priti Patel’s latest car crash of an interview from the point of view of the room next door.

“Counter-terrorism offenders is not a thing, okay? That’s like saying “anti-foxhunting fox hunters”, or “decency advocate, Priti Patel”
Twitter was equally baffled by Patel and thrilled to see the hilarious treatment of her awkward error.
Is there any possibility that someone could explain to the British Home Secretary the difference between terrorism and counter-terrorism? It might help if she recognised which ones are the bad ones and which aren't. https://t.co/GBZBP9Ubz4

Historian Simon Schama pointed out those who ought to be worried about the government’s package of measures.
wonderful – " counter- terrorism offenders " include MI5, police etc etc – she'll certainly be a rod across their backs!

We very much hope that Michael keeps writing these sketches, because we’re certain the politicians will keep making these gaffes.
