Guess who’s getting in a rage about SNL’s white male rage sketch
Comedian Melissa Villaseñor appeared on Saturday Night Live to give her take on this year’s biggest Oscar nominations, and she did it through the medium of song, highlighting a trend she thought she’d noticed.
Here’s what happened.
How catchy is that? We’ll all be singing about white male rage before you know it.
Of course, the clip – although a slightly shorter version – went out on Twitter, where it has been viewed more than five million times in two days.

A lot of people weren’t impressed. Unsurprisingly, white males seemed particularly unhappy about it – you could almost say they were in a rage.
What the fuck is wrong with you

Just remember guys: if you're on the bottom, dependent on a broken system designed to make rich people feel like something is actually being done… and then you fall through the cracks and are mocked and ridiculed while you die in the ditch – you still have to be a good boy, ok?

When i was a teen and first exposed to the internet i would look at the worst shit i could find like rotten . com and pain olympics and it would give me an awful sinking feeling in my stomach and i’d think “nobody should see this” and this gives me the same feeling as that https://t.co/z4BY7x5HDx

This observation either says something about SNL’s jokes, or about the Oscar nominations.
It’s almost hard to believe some dudes are really angry about this. The observation that The Academy love movies about angry violent white men isn’t exactly new, fellas. The same joke has been an annual tradition for decades. https://t.co/PpGY7x1vT2

It’s probably the Oscars thing.
