Miriam Margolyes’ funny story about the Queen was made even better by the NSFW word she used
A lot of people are talking about the Queen today, in the light of the decision of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to step back from the Royal Family. It has emerged that not even Her Majesty was warned of the impending announcement.
Nobody, however, is talking about her in quite the same was as voiceover queen and amazing actress, Miriam Margolyes, as she shared this story on This Morning.
Please note, she didn’t mind her language.

Proof that she definitely is the best teller of stories in the world.
We weren’t the only ones enjoying Miriam’s royal anecdote.
Don’t be distracted by the word “twat” from the main part of this story, in which the Queen does not come across well. https://t.co/z0x6JNkrAI

I love Miriam and frankly I think the Queen was rather RUDE to her. Good News is that Miriam couldn’t care less 🤷🏽♀️

Saying 'twat' on morning television, priceless.
Being told by the Queen to be quiet, also priceless.

Barnaby Edwards backed up the story, and gave away a little secret about the language used – it had been toned down for TV.
I was working with Miriam when this incident occurred. For this alone, she deserves a damehood.
(Parenthetically, when she told me the story, she used a slightly stronger word than 'twat'… 😉) https://t.co/JACsNUYcwi
