This artist had the perfect response to a “friend” trying to get her to work for free
The subreddit r/choosingbeggars calls out people who try to get something for much less than it’s worth and then turn nasty about the terms.
One post on the forum showed just how much of a creep they can be when they’re trying to get a favour – and how nasty they can turn when things don’t go their way.
For a start, it’s funny how the choosing beggar missed their friend so much that they didn’t get in touch until they wanted something.
She seemed a bit shocked that someone might want to charge for their professional services.
Not only did she play the old “mates’ rates” card – which isn’t usually free anyway – but she resorted to downright rudeness.
Thankfully, the artist in question wasn’t having any of her nonsense, and this speech should be printed out and stuck on the wall of everyone who has a business ripe to be exploited by their social circle.
Poster u/Flightxx revealed their source as Twitter user teresa, whose tweet was shared almost 48,000 at the time of writing.
