David Van Day’s support video for a Tory candidate is an eye-popping cringe-fest
David Van Day became known in the 80s as one half of saccharin pop duo, Dollar, but these days is more often on reality shows and managing a low-key political career, resulting in a Tory seat on Thurrock Council.
He recently decided to show some support for Thurrock’s Conservative parliamentary candidate, Jackie Doyle-Price, by doing what he presumably thinks he does best – singing.
