Walmart just pulled a Christmas jumper with a coke-sniffing Santa
To be filed under ‘it probably seemed like a good idea at the time’ comes this Christmas jumper featuring a coke-sniffing Santa that has just been pulled from the shelves by supermarket giant, Walmart.
And just in case you think the design was just an unfortunate coincidence – of course it wasn’t an unfortunate coincidence – there was this.
“We all know how snow works. It’s white, powdery and the best snow comes straight from South America. That’s bad news for jolly old St Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole.
“That’s why Santa really likes to savour the moment when he get his hands on some quality, grade A, Colombian snow.”
That’s just awful. 70% polyester? Ban this filth!
A Walmart spokesman said this.
“These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website.
“We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologise for any unintended offence this may have caused.”
