Want to hear Pachelbel’s Canon played on train whistles? Of course you do

Wedding favourite and tune you know you know but can’t remember what it’s called, Pachelbel’s Canon in D, is usually played on chamber instruments – violins, viola and cello, although there are numerous versions including electric guitar and even boomwhackers.

This edited version, however, goes into uncharted territory, by playing it using train whistles – from actual trains.

We can’t express how we feel any better than Nick Kapur already has.

If that whetted your appetite, you’ll enjoy this rant about the piece, and why it seems to be everywhere.
