Finally, a Christmas party for freelancers that they can put on their expenses

It’s not easy being a freelancer at this time of year. Not only are you hoping – praying – that those invoices you put in months ago will be paid before the end of the year.

You also totally miss out on the staff Christmas party (and no, having a coffee and mince pie on your own in Pret doesn’t count).

So the good people of ANNA Money, the mobile business account for freelancers, are hosting a festive celebration especially for the nation’s 5 million freelancers (not all of them, obviously).

And it’s totally expensable because you can claim it on your tax return as ‘staff welfare’.

Because what could be more important for the well-being of your staff (you) than a Christmas knees-up?

There’s a whole bunch more information here (including how to buy tickets) about the bash in London on 11 December.

You don’t have to be an ANNA member but, you know, you do have to be a freelance. Seems only fair.
