The unfortunate position of a tree makes Matt Hancock’s video watchable
It may be a side-effect of Rory Stewart’s short-lived success during the prime ministerial campaigning, but for whatever reason, the Conservatives have taken to sharing short video diaries to update the electorate on their whereabouts and intentions. It’s even duller than it sounds, usually, but Health Secretary Matt Hancock injected a talking point by accidentally – we think – positioning himself so that a nearby tree looked like a weird hairstyle.

Naturally, Twitter twigged what was going on and couldn’t leave it alone.

Somebody tipped him off, and he dealt with it better than he’s ever handled a policy question.
Maybe it was a mistake to try the new hair implants so publicly… 🤔🤷♂ https://t.co/z3FwTrcBCq

@WordyBoy had a very different observation.
I can now see why HS2 was needed when it's taken you 9 years to get from Westminster to Yorkshire. https://t.co/27WqzwpJ2r
