Pizza Express’s response went viral after Prince Andrew used its Woking branch as an alibi
As you’ll probably have seen by now, Pizza Express was catapulted into the spotlight at the weekend by Prince Andrew’s interview on BBC2’s Newsnight.
The prince used a visit to its Woking branch as his alibi for the allegation that on the same day he had sex with Virginia Giuffre, then aged 17, one of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged trafficking victims.
“On the date that’s being suggested I was at home with the children… I’d taken Beatrice to Pizza Express in Woking.”
Prince Andrew tells @maitlis he was elsewhere the night it has been claimed he had his photo taken with a woman who says they had sex
