That Tory election broadcast explained from the Room Next Door
The Tory Party are the first off the starting block with a party election broadcast, featuring Boris Johnson answering highly mundane questions as he ambles past many, many posters about the 20,000 police they’re claiming to be funding. It has amused and baffled people in equal measure, and the fact checkers have had a field day, but what we really wanted to know was – why? Luckily, Michael Spicer was on hand to show us the directions from the room next door.

“Decades of negotiation with the European Union is not the same as heating through a pie.“
We’re not sure how we could face another four weeks of campaigning without the thought of Michael’s reimaginings, and we’re not alone.
Michael Spicer is possibly the only person making this election period bearable. Where can I vote for him? https://t.co/jyQNhlgvGb
