Naga Munchetty asked Boris Johnson how ordinary families can relate to him and his answer speaks volumes

Boris Johnson was back on the campaign trail today, this time rolling up to the BBC Breakfast studios in Salford where he was interviewed by Naga Munchetty.

And it’s fair to say it didn’t go entirely to plan.

There was lots to choose from but we think this was our favourite bit, when Munchetty asked him how he was relatable to families up and down the country. His answer, well, have a watch for yourself.

This is our favourite thing people said about it.

Although this is pretty good too.

And that wasn’t the only weird bit. Listen to this story about the last time the so-called prime minister used the NHS.

And people could sense something coming. Of course they could!

A bit like this, by the wonderful @MrMichaelSpicer.
