This dad said his kids don’t deserve any privacy and the entire internet put him right
Here’s a chap who calls himself ‘Agent of Chaos’ on Twitter – ‘I don’t tweet, I recite Bible scripture 🙏🏽’ – who feels strongly about what his children can and can’t do while they are living under his roof.
So much so that he went on Twitter to tell everyone, obviously.
My children will get “privacy” from me when they can pay their own bills and feed themselves. Until then, you do what I say.
Ain’t shit negotiable. We not friends.

And if he was hoping for a response then it’s fair to say he got one, as the entire internet took time out from its busy day to put him right. Here’s just a flavour of the things people had to say in response.
My parents had this mentality lol. I have them blocked on social media and find any and every excuse not to visit at Christmas. Your kids gonna be the same if you keep that attitude.

Hope the nursing home I put you in respects your privacy. I certainly won't be checking.

Then be prepared for them to go buck wild as soon as they get out from under your control. I've seen it a thousand times.
They need some autonomy so they can start learning things before they're out on their own.

My mum used to say that last bit to me so often. It burns her now that I'm 30 and we definitely ain't friends.

This is a surefire way to have kids that gain independence as quickly as possible and run far far away from you

They'll learn to pay bills and feed and feed themselves a lot faster if they're granted autonomy.
