We have to admire the talent of funny tweeter and occasional writer and cartoonist, @Jeffwni, for managing to so faithfully recreate the style of the wonderful Bill Watterson, but we’re not sure he had to be so brutal about it.

In case you don’t know why the image is so devastating, it shows a grown-up Calvin, deserting his childhood playmate, Hobbes. Here they are – in a couple of genuine Watterson creations – in happier times.
We feel a little better now.
