Boris Johnson trying and failing to use a mop tells you all you need to know
Another day, another photo op for Boris Johnson, who turned up in Matlock, Derbyshire to do his bit to help with the flooding that has hit large parts of northern England.
Except ‘doing his bit’ turned out to be a very small bit indeed as the so-called prime minister tried to do some mopping up at this branch of Specsavers.
And the results, well, the results were this.

“Just randomly slop the broom around on the floor Boris, the plebs will believe that you’re sincerely and desperately trying to help and it’s not a pathetic atttempt at vote-winning at all”

Yesterday Boris Johnson turned up in Matlock to mop up in Specsavers. Had these people not been through enough already? pic.twitter.com/JxVfX0AQJ0

To conclude …
A death, 100s of lives affected, businesses ruined but it’s all just a photo opportunity and a jolly jape. pic.twitter.com/EsNVaZwuFt

Oh, and this!
Politicians who can’t do normal things being filmed doing them ineptly is one of the highlights of election season. pic.twitter.com/enNOl67dmc
