“Recession” is the “British sequel to Succession” starring Boris Johnson – and it’s just glorious
The comedian and writer who was Lord Buckethead during the 2017 general election, Jon Harvey, has mocked up the opening title sequence to a programme that doesn’t exist, but we wish it did – Recession, the British sequel to Succession.

It’s simply perfect. We’re a little gutted we’ll never get to watch it, and we suspect these people are too.
This is one of the best things that has ever happened. https://t.co/o2s98gIIvT

Playwright, Lucy Prebble, pointed out another aspect of the clip.

Yet, no more terrifying than the reality of Boris Johnson.
