Curtis Stigers took down Nigel Farage’s plans for the NHS and won everybody’s vote
Donald Trump isn’t the only American offering his thoughts on the general election. Except unlike Trump, who has suggested Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage would make an unstoppable team, Curtis Stigers’ intervention is a much more welcome one.
Stigers – who is no stranger to going viral on Twitter – did it again with this takedown of Nigel Farage and his plans for the NHS.
A message to my many friends in the UK:
A large percentage of the population of the United States of America never can afford to see a doctor because health insurance is prohibitively expensive. This man is trying to kill you and your family. https://t.co/G3AdjR4Dpa— Curtis Stigers (@curtisstigers) 3 November 2019
And it’s fair to say he struck a chord with people. Lots and lots of people.
This is the brutal truth. https://t.co/oH1VJBkqem

If you let them do this to you in the Uk you are insane. The US has the most expense health care in the world, the most expensive prescription drugs, and poor health care outcomes compared to the UK, Canada, & Australia.

I live in the US. Recently, I sliced my thumb while cooking dinner. Went to the hospital, to see if I needed stitches.
They put some disinfectant on it, applied some glue to keep it shut, and I got an injection for tetanus, just in case.
$3,600 bill. I have to pay $2,000.

To conclude …
So the whole point of Vote Leave's campaign was to give £350 million back to the NHS. We now learn that increased cost to the NHS of a post Brexit trade deal with the US would be as much as £500 million a week. To make US Pharma richer.
