When Boris Johnson’s promise to get Brexit done by the 31st of October, do or die, came to nothing, staunch Brexiters took to the streets to protest – all two dozen of them.

Whilst they seem to be doing their bit for the sale of Union Jack merchandise, it’s hardly the explosion predicted by Mark Francois. Here are some of our favourite reactions:
