John Bercow “singing” Danger, High Voltage is a fitting tribute to the retiring Speaker
After ten years as Speaker of the House of Commons and twenty-two as an MP, John Bercow will chair his final session of Parliament today, which will very much change the feel of proceedings. Whether you love him or hate him, and there’s no doubt the man has caused division, you can’t deny he’s been a colourful character on the political landscape, and this JOE revamp of the Electric Six hit, ‘Danger, High Voltage’ is a fitting farewell.

We tip our hats – woolly, with bobbles, in case you were wondering – to the very talented @swedemason and @BeardedGenius for this masterpiece. We aren’t the only ones:

Perhaps the only other tribute to come close to JOE’s creation, is this young man’s excellent impression.
An unexpected consequence of brexit, @mrjamesob @IanDunt @JimMFelton @SheRa_Marley , that my 3 yr old is able to do an impersonation of the speaker of the house thanks to the amount of parliamentary coverage that’s watched in our home. Thanks also for your continued analyses. pic.twitter.com/khZjOd1srt
