Quotes from the Fast Show’s Rowley Birkin match eerily well to Boris Johnson
If you’ve seen the Fast Show, you’ll doubtless be very familiar with the character of Rowley Birkin, the soused old QC, rambling in the firelight on the questionable exploits of his youth, generally carried out whilst “very, very drunk at the time”.
Comedian Joe Heenan obviously spotted a horrible familiarity in the incredibly posh, yet incoherent, waffling, and he shared his inspiration with Twitter.
