This Tory MP was given a reality check by the BBC and if only life always worked out like this

Tory MP Daniel Kawczynski – you remember, this guy – was on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme when he made the slightly unusual suggestion that the government was operating a balanced budget.

Unusual in the sense of not remotely truthful, and he was given a reality check by a BBC thing called, well, ‘Reality Check’.

Daniel Kawczynski, a Conservative MP, told this morning’s @VictoriaLIVE programme that we are now running a balanced budget.
