Someone pulled off the best prank call to the Nigel Farage show – wait for it
Prank calls must surely be a hazard of the job for radio phone-in shows, which is one of the reasons they have a delay on the line, but Nigel Farage completely bought this one – until the very last moment.
I called @Nigel_Farage and pranked him good with a joke I borrowed from @theCJS. pic.twitter.com/t1nOBKY87h

It’s a beautiful moment, and here are some things people were saying about it.
Great call on @lbc just now.
MAN: “I just want to thank you Nigel, for all you’ve done for British politics. I was an ardent remainer. I voted remain. Until one moment that changed it all”
FARAGE: “Wow. And what was that moment?”
MAN: “I got kicked in the head by a horse.”

Author Natalie Rowe was worried she might do herself a mischief if she listened to the clip again.
I can honestly say that I dare not listen to it again until I’ve recovered 😂😂😂😂😂😂. I’ll injure myself from laughing. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣… the Punchline is too much 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

Unlike Farage, @MedEighty spotted a dead giveaway from the start.
I suspected that something wasn't quite right, from the very beginning, as the person appeared to be able to string a coherent sentence together.
