The only 7 reactions you need to someone comparing Greta Thunberg to the Nazis
The 16-year-old climate activist, Greta Thunberg, has achieved in a year what adults have been trying to do for decades, which is to put climate disaster front and centre of the conversation. A lot of right-wing commentators across the globe seem to be threatened by the young Swede, as she challenges their assertions that climate change is a hoax.
One US conservative, Dinesh D’Souza made a startling comparison.
Children—notably Nordic white girls with braids and red cheeks—were often used in Nazi propaganda. An old Goebbels technique! Looks like today’s progressive Left is still learning its game from an earlier Left in the 1930s pic.twitter.com/E4q2KZ526s

The irony level of this is quite spectacular. Here are the seven best comments.
1.
Imagine seeing a teenage girl try to help save the planet we ALL LIVE ON and thinking “Yes that is an evil thing, totally the same as genocide” https://t.co/xGcs7Lnyuk

This is repugnant on so many levels. To the victims of Nazism, to #GretaThunberg and her family, to the Jewish community, and to those of us who genuinely care about the world we are leaving to our children. A decent person would apologize. #ClimateStrike https://t.co/cx85WZUhiN

Mike Godwin, of “Godwin’s Law” fame – the observation that any internet argument eventually leads to the Nazis – had this to say.
Sometimes, even if you pull the handle twice, a turd will turn out to be an unflushable floater. Meet Dinesh D'Souza. https://t.co/o5JDz9Mi8Y
