We can’t believe Amazon removed Louis Theroux’s review of his own book – actually we can

Louis Theroux has a reputation for being one of the loveliest investigative journalists you could meet, which sounds much like being one of the cleverest Trumps, except Louis actually seems like a decent bloke. His new book, Gotta Get Theroux This, has been released just in time to go head to head with David Cameron’s sensationalist autobiography, For the Record, so he tried an unconventional way of boosting his five-star review count.

In fairness, who would know his book better than he would? But it wasn’t to be.

Luckily for him, there were many other excellent reviews, including these ones that deserve a special mention.

And, even though we’re not the BBC, here’s a one-star review for balance.

Probably still better than the reviews for the Cameron book.
