Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant performing Rapper’s Delight is far better than it should be
In a “where did the years go?” moment, the Sugar Hill Gang’s massive hit, Rapper’s Delight, is now 40 years old, and to celebrate, TV editor Steven Rosenthal knitted together recordings of virtual assistants, Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant into a tribute cover version of the song.
At a little over four minutes, it’s far shorter than the fourteen minutes and change of the original, which is probably just as well because it’s good, but it’s not Sugar Hill Gang good. Steven tweeted the link to his creation.
