Boris Johnson’s brother Jo Johnson has quit and everyone made the same joke
Another day, another disaster for Boris Johnson after the latest person to quit his government was his very own brother, Jo Johnson.
Johnson, the business minister who voted remain in the 2016 referendum, said he was “torn between family loyalty and the national interest”.
It’s been an honour to represent Orpington for 9 years & to serve as a minister under three PMs. In recent weeks I’ve been torn between family loyalty and the national interest – it’s an unresolvable tension & time for others to take on my roles as MP & Minister. #overandout
