This tale of a 7 y/o and his burger prompted a rush of stories about very literal-minded kids
Andy Kesson went viral with this tale of his 7-year-old nephew and his response when he was asked how he wanted his burger done.
In the best yet things-my-nephews-have-done, the 7 year old ordered a burger today, and was asked if he wanted it medium. "Could you please make it very large?" he asked. Told that the choice was between medium or well done, he asked if the chef could do the best he could. Yes.

Meanwhile the 5 year old discovered they have new neighbours, found a step-ladder that nobody knew about, marched to the top of it and introduced himself with the words ‘Hello we have one dog three fish and lots of dinosaurs upstairs’

My son, who just started kindergarten, came home and it was clear he had colored on his legs. I asked him why. He said he was bored. I asked “bored of what…it’s kindergarten?” He responded with “bored of coloring the letter f. I mean, how many Fs do we need?!”

My nephew was getting an eye exam and the doctor asked him to read the top line. He said he couldn’t read it, and the doctor asked if it was too blurry. My nephew said it wasn’t blurry he couldn’t read it because it wasn’t a word

We were at a 1st communion party and there was a bouncy house. One of my cousins flew off it and landed on the ground and started crying. I asked him what he hit (as in.. on his body) and he shook himself off, looked me dead in the eye, and like I was an idiot said, “the ground?”

This is the best! When I was about the same age, I cracked my head open, had to get stitches, and overheard the doctor tell my mom I should eat a light dinner. My dad brought home Chicken McNuggest, my fave, as a special treat; I burst into tears because “they’re too dark!”
