This guy’s date made an odd request and the internet is judging hard
First dates can be a little awkward, meaning couples are more likely to tiptoe around one another and be on their very best – and least weird – behaviour. That wasn’t the case with this chap who went on a date with EricD14, the head of digital at MTV. Eric shared a screengrab of their subsequent text exchange.

Nothing says “perfectly normal” like wanting to check someone’s read your messages to them. When people saw the texts, they weren’t backward in coming forward with advice and opinions.

Someone named Maki had no problem with the request, for a very particular reason.
I have on read receipts for everybody. I'm ok with people knowing when I'm ignoring them https://t.co/Lpevd1Q5zp
